Nashville, Tenn. Apr. 13, 2011… What a week it has been for two-time GRAMMY ® nominee Mandisa. In addition to recently shedding 120 pounds, the Idol alum was featured on Extra , E! News, Headline News and Good Morning America in support of her latest recording, What If We Were Real. The album that was praised by USAToday.com and People Magazine, ranked in at No. 2 on the Christian Soundscan charts and No. 66 on the Billboard Top 200 selling over 7,500 units giving her an even higher debut than her last album Freedom. The CD also consistently held the No. 1 spot on the iTunes ® Christian & Gospel Album’s chart and even reached No. 15 on the overall iTunes ® Album’s chart.

“Stronger,” the debut single from What If We Were Real, is currently No. 2 on the iTunes ® Christian & Gospel Songs chart, and No. 3 on both the AC Monitored and National Christian Audience chart.

Mandisa recently headlined the “Girls Night Out” tour with comedian Anita Renfroe selling out the majority of the dates across the country last month. “Having Mandisa as part of our Girls Night Out Tour this spring has been nothing short of incredible,” explains Rob Olds, President of Events That Change, Inc. “The list of sold out shows is great but the pureness of heart and limitless love that she brings to the stage every night is nothing short of life changing for everyone in the room.” The tour will continue into June.
